Jessica Woodward is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) practitioner who blends ancient wisdom with modern science. As the founder of Botanical Point in Calgary and the co-creator of Soul Revival Retreats, her work is a culmination of her expertise as an herbalist, 300-hour yoga instructor, personal trainer, and sports nutritionist.

Her deep fascination with the human body began in junior high when she joined her school’s cheerleading team. Because of her small stature, she was quickly placed at the top of the pyramids, spending the next twelve years twisting and flipping through the air. Jessica’s athletic career saw her cheering with the Victoria Composite Co-Ed Team, the Edmonton Eskimo Cheer Team, and level six of Perfect Storm Athletics. These years took her across the globe to compete in Florida, California, and Hawaii, ultimately culminating in a first-place national title and a fifth-place finish at the Cheerleading Worlds in Florida.

While cheerleading provided a powerful escape, her retirement from the sport marked the beginning of a deeper internal journey. In 2015, Jessica enrolled in Yoga Teacher Training to explore spirituality and the ego. This experience unexpectedly sparked a passion for anatomy and physiology, leading her to pursue a Bachelor of Science. It was during these studies that she discovered Ancient Medicine.

The concepts of Traditional Chinese Medicine resonated with her instantly. Just two days into the course, she picked up Between Heaven and Earth by Harriet Beinfield and Efrem Korngold. That book confirmed her calling, prompting her to move to Nelson, BC, for a rigorous four-year TCM program.

Through her education, Jessica learned that true healing happens from the inside out. She discovered how profoundly our emotions influence our physical health, a realization that allowed her to navigate her own physical and emotional healing. Today, she is dedicated to sharing that knowledge, bridging the gap between Eastern and Western practices to help others find lasting resolve and balance in their lives.

Rachel Cadrin is a certified Canadian Counsellor and Art Therapist practicing in Calgary, Ab. She is a 500 hour E-RYT, 200 hour YACEP, 85 hour RPYT, Advanced Yoga Nidra instructor, and Buti Yoga Master Trainer. Rachel is certified as a Merge Level II Practitioner, a movement practice that focuses on the fascial planes of the body to facilitate functional movement. She provides Ayurvedic coaching in addition to meditation and somatic release. She is the owner of Whole Soul Healing specializing in healing and connecting to one's body, mind and spirit.

Rachel's childhood was spent in the dance studio, and it was in the studio that her love of movement was formed. Throughout her life Rachel turned to movement as a way to heal and process life's experiences. At 16 she had her first knee surgery and was presented with the opportunity to sit with all of her feelings and experiences which provided her with a great deal of insight and an appreciation for stillness. As part of her healing journey she found yoga, and her life was forever changed. Yoga provided her with the space to reflect, to move in a way that honoured her body, and to connect to her higher Self. Yoga allowed her to find safety in herself. The more immersed Rachel became in yoga the more she felt called to expand her healing journey and she embarked on a Masters in Counselling Psychology and art therapy.

Rachel now works as a Counsellor, art therapist, and yoga instructor in Calgary, AB. She is always learning and taking different courses. When she isn't teaching yoga, planning a retreat or event, or working one on one with clients Rachel can be found going on hikes, paddle boarding, snuggling with her puppies, coloring or reading. The work Rachel does with Soul Revival Retreats is her greatest passion and fills her heart and soul. She is deeply honoured to walk this path and holds all that walk their healing path with the highest regard.
